Abdul Rahman Asman, a 42 year old Tanzanian was caught in an Indonesian airport ferrying 1 kilogram of methamphetamine – ‘meth,’ stuffed in his stomach.
He was arrested by immigration officers in the popular holiday destination island of Bali after an x-ray and a CT scan spotted 99 plastic bags in the Tanzanian’s stomach.
It is not clear if prosecutors will seek the death penalty against Mr Asman, but Indonesia is notoriously known for executing drug traffickers by firing squad.
