At least three people have been confirmed dead after a tragic accident in Maseno. The accident which happened along the busy Kisumu-Busia highway caused huge traffic as motorists tried to navigate the wreckage.
The accident involved two canter trucks which are believed to have collided with a motorcycle. Three people were also injured and have been rushed to hospital for treatment.
Police officers and emergency teams are on the ground and are managing the situation. Kenyan roads are known to be killer traps. At least 20 people have died on the road this year alone.
