Ole Gunnar Solskjaer exudes confidence ahead of PSG clash

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has expressed his confidence in the team hours before the clash with the French table-toppers, PSG.

Ole, who has won 10 of his 11 games since he took reigns from Portuguese tactician Mourinho hopes to trounce PSG in Tuesday’s match that is seen to be tough test for Ole.

Stellar performance

Having drawn only once, Ole is between a rock and a hard place to prove his mettle as far as managing the English Premier League giants’ side is concerned.

Ole said: “Going into this game I do not think we could be in a better frame of mind with the confidence and form we have. We’ve given ourselves the best possible opportunity given the way things have gone.”

“We’ve found out what sort of team we have. We are looking like a team.

“We have a playing style and we all agree on how we should approach games.

“So if ever we had a chance going into big games, it’s now.”

Capable squad

 

Solskjaer said: “This squad is very capable of winning against any opponent. If we keep working hard every single day, we can improve and maybe surprise a few.”

PSG MVP Neymar, will, however, miss the game due to an injury he picked in his last game.  However, World cup sensation Kylian Mbappé who has 22 goals to his name this season and is counterpart Edinson Cavani (20 goals) will appear for the Champions League match.
