The Search for missing Dandora Human Rights Activist Caroline has been intensified and with it has also come various speculations surrounding the same.
Earlier today, a badly mutilated body of a woman found in Sagana raised worries and concerns among a section of Kenyans that it was that of Caroline Mwatha.
Police have now dispelled speculations that the body is hers..
The Police said they contacted the family and confirmed the remains are not of their daughter.
The officer said they responded after members of the public called a police station after seeing the body of the woman by the roadside on Tuesday morning.
“However we are not taking any chances, we are extending the search to where every lead will send us,” the officer said.
Mwatha, a senior official at Dandora Community Social Justice Center, disappeared last Wednesday.
