Citizen TV reporter Elphas Lagat, who is at Kilimani Police Station, reports that Mr Ojiwa, however, rescinded his decision of showing up at the police post.

“His wife, Nerima Wako, has just left the station,” said Mr Lagat on phone at 11:20am. His wife, Nerima Wako, is the CEO of Siasa Place and a columnist with The East African.

Mr Ojiwa, who is in his early thirties, is best known for the Ficha Uchi Initiative, a programme he founded that gives school uniforms to needy children.
