Renown Televangelist Gilbert Deya is among the Kenyan Pastors who dominated in the headlines for both good and bad reasons.
The pastor has revealed that Queen Elizabeth is among the people who supported his Ministry while he was in the UK.
Speaking to Mseto East Africa, Gilbert Deya said that his ministry in England was one of the biggest things.
He also added that after he was licensed to air his program on live TV this grew his audience and he even gained recognition from the Royal Family.
Gilbert Deya mentioned that Queen Elizabeth supported him by giving him attention and an audience.
Deya says that when he went to England, he believes that God sent him and he went there and started from humble beginnings by renting a small house and started his ministry in that room.
Through the England ministry, Deya also disclosed that he managed to buy buildings in each city of London.
The pastor also noted that each building might have costed him about 400 Million.
Deya said that these buildings were not for his sake like what other pastors do to enrich themselves.
The pastor said that he was well received and he used the money he got wisely.
Among the reasons why the pastor was making headlines is his links to ‘child trafficking’ allegations.
He is currently in the country and has made it clear that he doubts that he will go back to the UK.
However he says that his ministry is still ongoing and his church is located in Mombasa road.
