Governor Mike Sonko is giving out sh 300,000 to anyone with information on the whereabouts of Dandora based human rights activist Caroline Mwatha.
Matha, a vocal human rights activist who has been documenting extra-judicial killings in Dandora has been missing since Wednesday last week.
One of her cases includes the brutal murder of six residents in October last year. Police said the six were part of a gang that had hijacked a motorist but it was later revealed that the trigger angry officers just killed innocent civilians.
Sonko on Monday urged anybody with information to contact the nearest police station or the Directorate of Criminal Investigations offices.
Her search has been extended to water bodies and forests in Nairobi and its vicinity. Coordinator Wilfred Olal said they have written to relevant bodies to grant them access to forests and rivers.
