Controversial Pastor Gilbert Deya has revealed how he healed former President Daniel Moi. The pastor also got into details on how he had a close relationship with the former President.
Deya said that he ministered to Moi who had something growing in his throat and after the prayers he made for him he got healed.
Gilbert Deya revealed that they were so close that Moi at that time used to allow him to go to State House at any time.
The pastor said that after Moi was healed, he financed Deya’s ministry for some time as a result of the wonder working prayers.
Deya mentioned that he used to organize Crusades at the Kenyatta Conference Centre which were paid by the former President Moi. Generally, he made it clear that Moi financed these meetings.
Gilbert Deya also added that Moi used to co-order that Nyayo Buses to ferry people to Gilbert Deya’s crusades.
Speaking to Mseto East Africa, Deya emphasized that Moi was doing this since he appreciated the fruits of the prayers by the Man of God.
On how the two got close, Deya says that he got an invite from President Moi through a Mayor.
The Man of God said that it seems like the former President had been following up on his ministry through his service which used to be aired on Kenya Broadcasting Channel.
Gilbert Deya also shared that Moi gave him land of which he also handed over to pastors who built churches.
Deya describes their relationship to having been of closeness and understanding. This might have somehow been overshadowed after controversy about his ministry started to kick in.
