A couple was on Monday charged with stealing from Rosemary Odinga, the daughter of Opposition chief Raila Odinga.

When they appeared at the Milimani Law courts, John Ayub, who was Ms. Odinga’s personal secretary, and Christine Jane Anyango were accused that on November 15, 2018, they jointly conspired to steal Ksh.245,000 from Ms. Odinga.

Christine also faced a second count of using another person’s identity card contrary to the law.

The court heard that on the said date, she (Christine) unlawfully used a national Identity Card in the name of David Munyasia to register a SIM card at Target Network Limited in Nairobi.
