What comes into your mind when you hear “rap music”? some pretty hard music, with a male voice behind it perhaps Khaligraph Jones, Travis Scot or maybe Mac Miller. This time it’s a female voice behind the mic and trust me the kind of rap she does leaves the male rap stars startled. She actually beat male artists. The level of skills and the ability of Cardi B to beat the odds and do rap music so perfectly is just but amazing. She got the best rap album Grammy award and she is really getting praised on twitter.

Cardi B is the female rap star who made history on Sunday night at the Grammy Award and justifiably got pretty emotional. She emerged the winner as the best rap album award for her debut “Invasion of Privacy,”beating out other rap stars like Nipsey Hussle, Pusha T, Travis Scott, and the late Mac Miller, making her the first solo woman to do so. Bravo !Cardi B, it was incredible!
“I want to thank my daughter,” she said. “I’m not just saying thank you because she’s my daughter. It’s because, you know, when I found out I was pregnant, my album was not complete, like three songs that I was for sure having. And then you know, you know how it was, we was like, we have to get this album done so I could still do videos while I’m still not showing. And it was very long nights”…
During her speech, the rapper, taking the stage with Offset, teared up while talking about her pregnancy and daughter, who was born this past July.
Cardi admitted she was nervous, joking when she took the stage, “The nerves are so bad. Maybe I need to start smoking weed.”
