A couple accused of stealing Ksh. 245,000 from Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s daughter, Rosemary Odinga has been charged at Milimani Law court.on Monday.
John Ayub, a personal assistant to Rosemary and Christine Jane Anyango were accused that on November 15,2018 they jointly conspired to steal Sh 245,000 from the property of Rosemary Adhiambo Odinga.
The court heard that on the said date, Christine also illegally used a nationl Identity Card bearing the details of David Munyasia to register a Sim card and Mpesa at Target Network Limited in Narobi.
On the other hand, Ayub was charged with stealing Sh 245,000 from the property of Ms Odinga on the same date.
Trial Magistrate Francis Andayi released the two on Sh on a bond of Sh 200,000 or a cash bail of Sh 100,000 each.
The matter will be heard on February 25, 2019.
