Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has been on the forefront in ensuring that the city is clean. This initiative he started last year where the city in partnership with different individuals, organizations and agencies come together in attempts to clean various parts of the city.

The mass cleaning of the city usually comes monthly where Governor Sonko leads the exercise among other top individuals in the government.
Under the tag #MyWasteMyResponsibility Sonko has lead the cleaning in different parts of the city.
The February Edition, Mike Sonko dedicated all the efforts towards cleaning of Kawangware Area.
The cleaning activity involves residents from the area led by their local leaders and joined by governor Sonko and his team.
This is among the spirited efforts being put by the governor to maintain the shape of Nairobi City.
