Why Hazard’s Move to Real Madrid Could a Tall Order

Eden Hazard’s dream move to Real Madrid could be shattered if reports of Neymar potential move to the Madrid side will be confirmed.

The forward had hinted he could quit Chelsea after this season and always claimed he hopes to one day sign for Real.

Neymar is said to be unhappy in France and could be plotting a move back to La Liga. According to reports, Real as undoubtedly made him their first-choice target at the end of the season.

Real could part away with over $364m to sign the former Barcelona star from Paris Saint-Germain.

So Hazard may once again have to play a waiting game in the summer as he is now expected to be second choice.

The Belgian showed his ultimate goal was to play for Real and on Tuesday he admitted: “I know what I’m going to do. I have decided.”

In December, as reported by The Sun he revealed, “You know me, I have always loved Real Madrid.”

“We’ll see what happens. I’m finishing this year with Chelsea.

“I still have a year of my contract. After this year, we’ll see.”

Hazard stressed, earlier in the season,“Real Madrid is the best club in the world. I don’t want to lie. It is my dream since I was a kid.”

The Blues, however, will not let him go without a fight and have put the huge price tag on his head — even though his contract runs out in 2020.

Neymar allegedly wanted to leave the Nou Camp to escape Lionel Messi’s shadow and force a name for himself as one of the best players on the planet. But with the fallout at PSG, he is more likely to return to La Liga.

Real Madrid are desperate to sign the Brazilian and make him the face of their squad – much like Cristiano Ronaldo was before he left for Juventus in the summer.
