Closely following the Tuesday Kangemi fire,a fire broke out on Wednesday night at Gikomba Market. This is the latest in a string of fires that have destroyed the popular market.
Although Nairobi fire fighters arrived on time and contained it before it spread to other parts of the market, question over cause of the incident have been raised with many worried that just as the other fires this too will remain unsolved years later.
Many have insinuated that the fires are never accidental associating it wih land grabbing cartels.

The recent attack has even led to many declaring that the fire is officially an annual event which should be included in national calender.
Gikomba fire has become an annual event and should be there in a national calendar like Mashujaa Day.#GikombaFire #Nairobi pic.twitter.com/Km2Ch0iyWb

#GikombaFire is happening annually, the Questions are; WHO is involved in this and WHY?
I really feel for those who depend on businesses over there.
