Most people expected the Supreme Court to find a way of upholding Homa Bay Governor Cyprian Awiti’s win as a validly elected governor. And the court did not disappoint.
In a ruling delivered by Justice Jackton Ojwang, the court in unanimity upheld his election on Thursday. This is despite the fact that, the High Court and the Court of Appeal had both nullified his election.
This is the same court that upheld the election of Machakos governor Alfred Mutua despite being nullified by the two junior courts. And now Kenyans believe that the Supreme Court is corrupt and will continue delivering justice based on who has the most money.
Like I said. Supreme Court is bribe collection shop. Kenyan courts doesn’t trust even their own precedents. At the Supreme Court, the incumbent always has higher bribes. Mark that Awiti is blind and can’t even travel to Homa Bay. Dead man managing Homa Bay. Useless!!! pic.twitter.com/0jEBcgANTj
