It is not less than once the popular market in Nairobi, Gikomba has been reduced to ashes. The fire has been seizing down the market stalls annually!
In March 2012, the market was on fire, only for the incident to be repeated again in March 2014. In October 2014, Gikomba was under the inferno again! The same happened in June 2015, October 2017, June 2018 and this year, the market was on fire again yesterday night, changing the trend from mid last year’s June and October incidents to February. The Big Question that has never been Answered is — WHO is Burning Gikomba Market?
