Uhuru for Deputy President 2022? Murathe reveals another shocking details

Debate has been there to allow President Uhuru Kenyatta remain in power after expiry of his term in 2022.  Speculations of premiership post creation have been there, with many believing that the President will take up the Prime Minister post in 2022 should referendum come to pass. However, former Jubilee Party vice chair David Murathe has once again revealed another details about the 2022 politics.

Murathe who was speaking during a televised interview on Tuesday night hinted at plans to have President Kenyatta run as a deputy President in 2022. According to him, nothing can stop the president from  running for the post of deputy president.

Murathe argues that the issue can be politicised but referendum will sort it out.

“This can also be political and can be sorted out through a referendum,” Murathe told Citizen TV’s Hussein Mohamed.

He further challenged those complaining of his fights against Deputy President William Ruto to table any agreement deposited with the registrar or anything legally binding which says the president or the party should support Ruto.

“I want to challenge those complaining; let them show any agreement deposited with the registrar or anything legally binding which says the president or the party should support Ruto,” he posed.
