A few weeks ago the Former Jubilee Party Vice Chair David Murathe stepped down from his duties at the Pangani based office after he claimed that Deputy President William Ruto was not fit to be the next president of Kenya after President Kenyatta retires.
Well Seems Murathe is not yet done revealing the dirty secrets at Jubilee.The now controversial ex-politician revealed saying that the 2017 Jubilee party nominations were indeed not free and fair after all.
While speaking in an interview on Tuesday he said that some top party officials bungled the primaries for personal reasons.
He further claimed that the team was led by Deputy President William Ruto who rigged out some of the winners in favour of his own persons.
In addition he said, most of the fraudulent winners went ahead to win in the general election basing on the nature of voting in the region, where most Jubilee candidates proceeded to win.
Most of the losers whom he said won, he added, are well known and popular persons who were going to win were it not for the alleged rigging scheme.
“Ruto and team rigged out some of our people in Mt Kenya and planted their own people in the primaries. They went aged to win because they had the Jubilee ticket,” he claimed.
“I was watching it but there was nothing I could do about it,” he claimed.
This came after the postponement of the primaries, in what Murathe now claims was propagated by Ruto’s camp creating a commotion ahead of the process.
