Rashford scored an early goal in the ninth minute that proved to be the match winner as United held on for the 1-0 win to move into fifth place.

Rashford was replaced by Romelu Lukaku in the 78th minute with Solskjaer confirming that the player was playing with a knock. The England international has enjoyed a fine season scoring nine times and registering seven assists to his name.

Speaking after the 1-0 win over Leicester, Solskjaer revealed that Rashford was playing with a knock, “He got a dead leg early on but played through it. It was a fantastic pass by Paul ( Pogba), great finish (by Marcus), he could have had one earlier as well.” The positive news for United fans is that with a week’s rest until their next match,  Rashford should be fully recovered in time to feature against Fulham.
