Kenya’s boy band Sauti Sol signed into international music label

Kenya’s celebrated boy band Sauti Sol have received both local and international airplay, now the band have opened a new and bigger chapter of their music life.

During an interview with KISS 100, Bien opened up about their new sign into an international recording label. This is a major announcement the ‘boy band’ wants to make soon.

Bien talked about a few sign-ins they have on board who are working on their projects and are yet to launch them soon.

we are about to make a big announcement regarding our next move in our career. it involves a record label. we are planning for it. artiste are recording their songs and we are set to record our album

This counters what Jalang’o has been saying on Sauti Sol not supporting or mentoring young upcoming artistes. Bien was clear that helping out does not have to be loud. It does not mean that once you sign someone in you have to announce it.

The international recording label is rumored to be Sony. Sony Music Entertainment, commonly known as Sony Music, is an American global music conglomerate owned by Sony and incorporated as a general partnership of Sony Music Holdings Inc.

They will be joining other African artistes such as Tiwa Savage, Davido, D’banj and Ycee.
