Higuan on a brace as Chelsea bounce back in style

Chelsea bounced back from their last week outing against Bournemouth with a 5-0 win over Huddersfield in an English Premier League clash staged at Stamford Bridge on Saturday 2 February.

New signing Gonzalo Higuain opened his Chelsea goal account when he smashed the ball past Jonas Lossl into the roof of the net after being played in behind the Huddersfield defence in the 16th minute.

Eden Hazard was to double the hosts lead from the spot minutes before the end of the first half before the Belgian doubled his tally and Chelsea’s third in the 66th minute.

In the 69th minute, Higuain scored his second of the afternoon as Chelsea made it four without reply against hapless Huddersfield. Defender David Luiz was to compile to the visitors’ misery with a goal two minutes from time.
