The ever gracious, lively and soft spoken Joey Muthengi is not new to the drama. Just a few months ago, Joey was caught up in the terrible snarl of her sarcasm when rumors all over social media emerged that the popular TV girl had an ongoing relationship with the famous Kenyan international football star ace McDonald Mariga. The rumors went viral leaving her with no choice but to adress the claims. She vehemently refuted the rumors saying their relationship was strictly proffessional.
The beautiful Kenyan Tv host and actress popularly known for co-hosting The Power Breakfast Show on Citizen Tv with Fred Indimuli and Willis Raburu made a guest appearence on NTV’s The Trend Live with Amina Abdi Rabar. Despite rumors of her relationship with Mariga having died down, she found herself in a tight spot when she was asked to recount the ordeal.
Just when she thought she was out of the woods, Amina wasted no time in exposing Joey’s drama on national television. The Trend played a scene from Joey’s younger days when she played the role of evil stepmom in the popular drama series called ‘Changing Times’ that aired for six months and won a Kalasha award. The scene shows Joey asking for her on-screen husband’s credit card as her roots need to be redone. Another dramatic scene comes on showing her calling the step children ‘brats’.

The exposure was well received by Joey as she is seen giggling while the clip plays and she says it was so dramatic. She wastes no time acknowleging the greatess of the show and revealing that she does indeed miss it dearly. Joey confirms that she would like to go back to acting in future, so don’t be surprised to see her on a screen near you moving forward.
