Murathe reveal details of his fulfilled plans of taming Ruto

Former Jubilee Vice Chairman David Murathe has revealed that he is a happy man because Deputy President William Ruto has been tamed following the recent promotion of Interior CS Fred Matiang’i.

Weeks after maintaining a low profile following his resignation, Murathe has said that the recent changes in government have impressed him.

Speaking on Tuesday during a closed-door meeting with Former Vice President Stephen Kalonzo and other Ukambani leaders in Yatta, Murathe continued his onslaught against the second in command.

He maintained that he will not stop his plan to bar him from contesting for power.

He also alleged that the constitution allows President Uhuru Kenyatta to be a Deputy President of this nation after completing his term in office.

According to Murathe, the constitution doesn’t bar Uhuru from contesting in the capacity of Deputy President when that time comes.

“I am glad that Mr. Ruto has been put in his place and government work is now properly streamlined,” he said in part as quoted by Daily Nation.

Murathe also asked Ukambani leaders not to be hoodwinked by the projects DP Ruto is going to launch in the region. He insisted that it is the right of the residents to benefit from the projects and not a favor.
