Its not been a light battle for Deputy President William Ruto ever since former Jubilee party chairman David Murathe launched war on him.He has not only gone after his future job but is hell bent on destroying his reputation.

David appears to have alot more to say over Ruto despite his resignation from the party. Only time will tell how much more he will spill about the Dp.

Murathe has recently claimed that the National Anti Corruption Conference that was held on January 25 was convened to discuss Ruto.

During the meeting that was also attended by Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama and other leaders, Murathe stated that he was shocked to see Ruto in attendance.

“I was surprised during the anti-corruption conference in Nairobi where the person who was being discussed over corruption was seated right there shamelessly,” Murathe told the delegates.

Murathe alluded to serious legal implications in Ruto’s candidature, and that he intended to seek an explanation from the courts because of the ambiguity of the current law.

“If the legal basis for the DP’s candidacy is that he’s running for a different office from one he occupied in the two terms, then what stops President Kenyatta also contesting and serving as deputy president?” he posed amid cheers.

The former Jubilee boss in the meeting also stated that he was happy with President Uhuru Kenyatta’s move to appoint Interior CS Fred Matiang’i as Chairperson of the newly constituted National Development Implementation and Communication Committee.
