In rectification, Embakasi East MP, Babu Owino claimed roads constructed in his constituency were his initiatives unlike claimed by Sonko.

“It is me who approached the Director General KURRA Kinoti for the construction of Utawala Benedictor-Kinca road and anyone (Governor) claiming that it Is his work is a misplaced priority and a fat lie,” wrote Owino.

Owino made the accusations hours after Sonko shared a video of engineers together with the area MCA Karani working on the Utawala-Bernedita Kincar-Githunguri road despite him being away.

According to the county Governor, his government is also digging the Utawala community a borehole, something Owino has dismissed.

“Do you know the meaning of Nairobi Regeneration program? My government contributed KSh 1.5 billion for these development projects even you sit down with the King of England and you have no contribution on the table it has no meaning,” responded Sonko.
