Barely three weeks after the cowardly DusitD2 terror attack along Riverside Drive in Westlands, another attack had been plotted in Nairobi’s Central Business District (CBD), which fortunately failed.
Following an Improvised Explosive Device’s explosion at Nairobi CBD’s Latema junction, Kenyans on Twitter are up in arms, demanding to know if the CCTV camera’s that were installed by Safaricom are still effective.
Safaricom was paid Billions to Install CCTV Camera’s around CBD.
They could not capture Jacob Juma’s and Hon Muchai’s killers and Nothing seem to have changed. This is how corruption is killing us!

They are arguing that the communication company was paid millions of money by the government to install CCTV cameras in the whole CBD, which should be functional.
Come to think of it, we have spent millions on the CCTV Camera’s around Nairobi. Let’s see if the @NPSOfficial_KE @DCI_Kenya will put our cameras to good use and tell us who the Odeon bomber is #LatemaExplosion #Latema

They now want the government to have a look at the Safaricom-installed cameras and unleash the terrorist.

According to the reports from police, a suspected terrorist gave a small luggage to a trolley pusher, who on reaching Latema Junction had the luggage explode on him.
Police say that the luggage had an Improvised Explosive device (IED), which the suspect detonated after giving himself a distance for his safety.
It is said that the IED targeted one of the Public Service vehicles (PSV) in the CBD.
The IED was most likely meant to explode in a PSV. But God thwarted the evil plans. #LatemaExplosion #odeonExplosion pic.twitter.com/KU9XPjpjFb
