Kenya will have a representative in the Sportpesa Cup Finals for the 3rd year running after Bandari FC stunned tournament favourites Simba SC in the semis on Friday.
In form forward William Wadri and Wilberforce Lugogo scored the all important goals as the coast based side overturned a 1-0 first half deficit to win the game 2-1.
Former Gor Mahia forward Meddie Kagere had given Simba the lead late into the first half and celebrated in a way that seemed derogatory to the Kenyan outfit.
The final could turn out to be a Kenyan affair if Kariobangi Sharks beat Mbao FC in the second semifinals.
