We all knew exactly what Ferdinand waititu was the moment he declared he was running for Kiambu governorship in 2017. He had a history of hate speech and incitement against an ethnic community while serving as Former Embakasi MP.
Correspondents to news rooms say Mr Waititu is a fiery politician and has been arrested by police before – for protesting against the demolition of shanty houses, but has never been charged.
In September 2012, It was reported that up to three people died in the troubled Kayole during the confrontations.
“We don’t want to see any Maasai here in Kayole,” the video recorded by Kenya’s Nation Television shows Mr Waititu saying.
Now we see tweets of people online disappointed that their hopes didn’t pan out after voting for him in Kiambu.

Every time you feel like calling someone a fool just confirm that you didn’t vote for Sonko and Waititu first.

Stopping Ferdinand Waititu is a short-term solution. The long-term solution – and it will be more difficult – is fixing the educational system that has created so many people ignorant enough to vote for Ferdinand Waititu

The Kiambu Governor also acknowledged why he finds it hard to express himself in English.
Addressing mourners at a funeral service in Gatundu South, Waitutu, speaking in Kikuyu, said he did not go to nursery school.
“I was a student at Dagoretti High School but as you know, I have difficulty in expressing myself English. This is because I did not go to nursery school.
When the devil was sent away from heaven,he fell on your English before proceeding to Kiambu to look for Waititu

To add Further injury , Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has claimed that he used to smoke marijuana in a toilet alongside the Kiambu Govenor Ferdinand Waititu.
Appearing on Jeff Koinange Live, Sonko made the shocking confession while responding to a video of Governor Waititu taking a jibe at him over the move to phase out 14-seater matatus.
I wonder how voters choose leaders in Kiambu ? Shame …
