The Supreme Court has overturned a Court of Appeal ruling allowing Muslim students to wear hijabs in school a case filed by the Methodist Church of Kenya. The court ruled that every school has a right to determine its rules.
Citizens have expressed disatisfaction in the methodist push to hinder musim ladies from adhering to the code of their relligion of wearing the head scarfs to cover their hair and some part of their face in the public.
Many have illustrated confusion over the church meddling in such issues questioning Methodist’s intentions in the matter.
But how does this affect the Methodist church ? Why do they want to have laws against a certain faith? What happened to religious tolerance? This is not encouraged in the Bible, in fact it is encouraged to cover hair during worship. ?its a shame https://t.co/hy8iDP5oc3

What reason could the Methodist Church possibly have, to deny someone the right to their beliefs and more so in regards to wearing a hijab? https://t.co/PoRHB3Tp92

What does it matter what a student wears?
I don’t get the connection between education and uniform.. Methodist church with all due respect is focusing on irrelevant issues— Fredrick Waweru (@FredrickWawerum) January 24, 2019
