Why Hazard wouldn’t join Man Utd Even if Zidane moved there

Eden Hazard claims he wouldn’t join Manchester United even if his hero Zinedine Zidane became the new manager.

The Belgium international has been linked heavily with a transfer away from Chelsea with Real Madrid being touted as the possible destination.

Zidane left Real last summer as Cristiano Ronaldo also departed with the Spanish giants failing to replace their former talisman.

However, Zidane was a thought to be a major pull for Hazard if he were to join Real, who were reportedly keen to bring in the Belgian last summer.

Speculation has grown in recent months that Zidane could take over the reins at United but Hazard insists he wouldn’t move to Old Trafford even if the former France international joined.

“I have won everything in England, apart from the Community Shield,” Hazard told France Football.

“But that doesn’t mean that I’m leaving.

“I have always said that I wanted to explore something different after England. But there are also things that might make me stay.

“After the World Cup, I wanted to leave, but in the end I stayed at Chelsea and I’m playing one of best seasons so far.

“So I don’t think that I need a different challenge. But that doesn’t mean that I will become better.”

On whether he had heard news from Zidane, Hazard said: “No, I have never had.

“If he goes to Manchester tomorrow, for instance, I will not be going there.”
