Ruchu girls deputy principal is on the spot for allegedly suspending a student from the school in the middle of the night with her box and books.
The girl alleges that the deputy principal humiliated her in front of the students as she asked her to pack and leave the school premises.
The TSC has previously said that corporal punishment or any other degrading treatment constitutes a professional or criminal offence and can lead to disciplinary action or prosecution in a court of law.
Reasons behind her suspension remain unclear , even though the deputy should have waited until the next day to send her home on a valid reason.
The deputy principal is alleged to have used the school van to ferry her out of the school at around 7pm and taken her to Njiri boys high school where her parents work.
The young lady alleges that the deputy principal was accompanied by the watchman and a separate vehicle.
On arriving , she says she was left in the van as the deputy left in the separate vehicle and left in the dark for hours.
Pictures seen online show the girl sleeping on the back of the van with her matress and box exposing her to danger.
Kenyans have been angered on why are such teachers still running the system.
@AMB_A_Mohammed @AliceWahome Regardless of the crime this young woman committed, it is callousness and carelessness of the highest order to evict her from the school at night. This is inhumanity of the highest order and the teacher involved should be sacked. Total shame!
