MP Soy constituency Caleb Kositanty has jumped in to rescue a needy student who was seeking help from well wishers.
This comes after the news was shared online of the KCPE finalist who refused to leave house for lack of secondary fees.
The student is said to have locked herself in the house and refused to speak. The family made an appeal to well-wishers to intervene in the situation.
Details of the young girl were shared leading on the MP to link up with the family. The MP also assured the family that he will have the matter sorted.
During this year’s admission into high school, many cases were reported of students who shared frustration of being unable to join school due to financial challenges.
Some were lucky enough to get the help they need a Kenyans jumped in to share possible solutions.
Even though the government offers bursaries, foundations such as these come through for those who might not get lucky with the bursaries.
