The growing rot in the society is not only growing unstopable but also creating an alarm on the future of many nations.

Over a period in Kenya of transitioning our great minds to higher levels of eduction,the national exams period in 2018, it turned out that there was a shocking number of candidates who were pregnant at the time.

This was termed a crisis that gre into a public debate with questions of who was misleading the girls into early pregnancies with others throwing blame at teachers and others throwig blame at parents but the question stil remains with how to solve the problem.

Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Junior has recently expressed his fury over alarming levels of teenage pregnancies in the country and vowed his law firm will never represent anyone facing child defilement charges.

Mutula said the society was experiencing highest levels of moral decadence catalysed by men’s untamed appetite for young girls and boys, saying the situation needed to be reversed urgently.

Speaking in Parliament with regard to latest report by the Kenya Demographic Health Survey (KDHS) which highlighted skyrocketing cases of defilement, Mutula called on elected leaders to spearhead the fight to save children from sex predators.

According to the report, Narok had highest prevalence levels of teenage pregnancies at 40%, followed by Homa Bay at 33%, West Pokot 29%, Tana River 28% and Nyamira at 28%.
