Four Liverpool Deals That Could Be Done Before Deadline Day

Liverpool have enjoyed a peaceful January transfer window so far with little drama at Anfield.

The Reds shipped out Dominic Solanke to Bournemouth for around £19million while Nathaniel Clyne joined the south coast club on loan.

No incoming deals are expected this month but four more players could be on the way out of the club as Jurgen Klopp trims his title-contending squad.

Liverpool transfer deals could be finalised in the next week.

OUT: Alberto Moreno (to Sevilla)

Moreno’s spell at Liverpool could draw to a close this month following the defender’s rant about a lack of playing time last month.

He said: “I do not feel good, that is the truth.

“I hurt myself giving everything for this team and I think that when I came back from injury, I deserved an opportunity.

“The situation is normal for a lot of players but simply I did not like the way he [Jurgen Klopp] has treated me, you can say that.

Sevilla have been credited with an interest in their former left-back with Spain his most likely destination according to The Sun.

OUT: Daniel Sturridge (to MLS)

Sturridge has entered the final six months of his contract with the Reds and can officially sign a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs.

Reports suggest MLS clubs are eyeing up a move for the English star.

It remains to be seen whether Sturridge would wait until the end of the season to move given the American league kicks off in March.

OUT: Divock Origi (to Tottenham)

It would unlikely that Jurgen Klopp would allow Sturridge and Origi to join Dominic Solanke through the exit door in the same window without sourcing a replacement.

Now incoming deals appear to be imminent but a big bid for Origi could be enough to tempt the Reds into selling.

The Telegraph have linked Origi with a shock move to Tottenham following Harry Kane’s ligament injury while Fulham and West Ham were tipped to sign him earlier in the window.

OUT: Lazar Markovic (to anywhere)

Markovic has enjoyed a £50,000 per week contract since joining the club in 2014.

He has now entered the final six months of his contract having only made 34 appearances in all competitions for the Reds.

The Liverpool Echo have confirmed Liverpool will listen to any offers for the midfielder this month.

Anderlecht and Fiorentina have both been linked in the past – with the former close to signing him last season – but bids from anywhere will be considered.
