Defiant Moses Kuria Shows Jubilee the Middle Finger as He Dances With the Enemy

Ruling Jubilee Party could have decided not to field a candidate in the Embakasi South by election but this has certainly not prevented Vocal Gatundu South MP MosesKuria from having his say in the coming by-elections.

Kuria, in the spirit of building bridges initiative has apparently decided to throw his weight behind Wiper Candidate Musili Mawathe.

“Jubilee Party will not field a candidate in the forthcoming Embakasi South by-elections. As such in the spirit of the handshake and the Building Bridges Initiative, myself and like minded leaders, in our individual capacities, have today resolved to support Hon Musili Mawathe (Wiper) to retain his seat,” posted Kuria on his official Facebook Page.

Kuria’s latest stand has also attracted Hon Jaguar (Starehe), Hon George Theuri (Embakasi West) , Hon Simon Mbugua (EALA) , Hon Makali Mulu (Kitui Central) and former Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama.

Mawathe will go against ODM’s Irshad Sumra, with Raila’s party already having warned its NASA affiliates – Wiper, ANC and Ford-Kenya – not to field candidates.

Kuria’s latest decison could be seen as a slap on his Party bosses with speculation rife that top Jubilee management was rooting for ODM candidate Irshad Sumra.

Do you support Kuria’s latest political move? Will this cause more chaos in Jubilee or is it his political right to support a candidate from a rival party?
