Bobi Wine Shares Inspirational Moment With the Gagamel Buju Banton

It’s been slightly over a month since the Gagamel Buju Banton was freed was Prison. With it came wild celebrations not only in Jamaica but around the world with the Reggae star seemingly enjoying a large fan base despite staying behind bars for a long time.

Buju Banton has since announced his Long Walk to Freedom World Tour that will see him visit various cities across the world to perform and interact with his fans who are dying to see him hit the stage once again after a long absence.

Some of his fans have however already have a glimpse of him. They include Dj Khaleed who brought him on board for his upcoming Studio album dubbed “Father of Ashad”

One other lucky person to have met the gagamel boss up close is Ghetto President and musician Bobi Wine from Uganda.

Bobi was over the weekend performing alongside other musical acts at Jamaica’s biggest roots reggae festival dubbed Rebel Salute.

In photos shared on his instagram with the caption: ‘I touched his skin. We had a conversation. I can confirm that #Buju_Banton is free, alive and well,” Bobi Wine can be seen having a conversation with Buju.

Bobi’s fans have called on him to drop a collabo with Buju before he returns to Uganda.

Buju Banton has collaborated with international artists Busta Rhymes, Fat Joe, Trey Songz, Rancid, and Bob Marley’s sons Stephen Marley and Damian Marley. Much of his music deals with spirituality and sociopolitical issues as well as love and life itself.
