Dusit nightmare!! Company loses six employees to terrorist

Cellulant, a leading digital payment platform in the region,has suffer a major blow after six of it’s employees lost their lives in the deadly Riverside terror attack.

The six, who were among the 21 people who lost their lives in the hands of Al shaabab  militants held senior positions in the tech firm.

According to the company tweet, the six risked their lives to save their colleagues .”They put their lives on the line in a true act of leadership, selflessness and bravery to save the lives of their fellow colleagues in the Riverside terrorist attack in Nairobi.

They have been christened as ‘The Brave Six’ owing to their efforts in saving the lives of their colleagues when the terrorists stormed their office block.

The brave six are;

1. Ashford Kuria, Head of Product Development

2. Dennis Mwaniki, Head of Information Security

3. Jeremiah Mbaria, Head of Cellulant’s hub

4. John Ndiritu, Quality Assurance Tester

5. Kelvin Gitonga, Hub Engineer

6. Wilfred Kareithi, Implementation Engineer and leader of Cellulant’s Global Delivery Team

A memorial service in honour of the six will be held on Tuesday, January 22 from 10:30 am at CITAM Valley Road Church.
