Kenyans have been shocked with the revelation that Violet Kemunto Omwoyo, an alumnus of Masinde Muliro University, was the wife to the mastermind of the bloody Riverside Terror Attack.
Ali Salim Gichunge is believed to have been the one who co-ordinated the attacks and even housed his fellow terrorists on the night before the siege. According to sources, Salim is a son of a KDF officer. He never went to college and at one time was a Madrassa teacher in Mombasa.
So how did the two meet? How did an educated lady come to meet with a radicalized terrorist? Kenyans believe that Violet’s case is another perfect example of how beautiful ladies in Kenya are falling for bad boys.

In trying to explain this phenomenon, a female friend of mine told me that when you date a good guy, you will go to heaven. On the other hand, bad boys will bring heaven to you. This could be the reason why Violet fell for this cold blooded maniac.
The couple is believed to have been living large in a 40k apartment in the upmarket Mucatha estate in Kiambu. They ate meat everyday and had a 40″ Smart TV.
