Milele FM Radio Presenter Jalango has shared his dream of hosting the BET Awards.
Jalango believes that there is power in speaking positively about big goals and dreams.
This is not the first time the radio presenter has spoken of his ambition since he shared the same after he hosted the Sauti Kuu event.
The Radio Presenter insisted that there is nothing that can equate hard work in the current times.
Speaking in regard to the complaints by musicians who are seeking to be supported; Jalango says that even though you might get the support you need, what counts is what you do after that.
Jalango is among the top successful media personalities and his rise in the industry give most of us the hope that hard work truly pays.
The Radio Presenter said that after he learnt that Obama was coming to Kenya, he jokingly told his then co-host Jeff Koinange that he was going to MC at the event.
He was later called by Gina Din who had watched the video of his shared dream and that is how he landed the deal.
Jalango during the TNL Dr Ofweneke show said that just as his dream to host the Obama’s event came true; this one too will come to pass.
The BET awards are presented annually, and are broadcast live on BET. The annual presentation ceremony features performances by artists, and some of the awards of more popular interest are presented in a televised ceremony.
A ceremony that was established in 2001 by the Black Entertainment Television network to celebrate African Americans and other American minorities in music, acting, sports, and other fields of entertainment over the past years.
