God is in deed a miracle working God doing his things in mysterious ways. The Dusit attack in Nairobi’s 14 Riverside area certainly left a mark on many Kenyans with some loosing their lives while others suffered injuries.
Lucky Kenyans were saved unhurt but one thing for sure is that most of them suffered psychological trauma and will have to go for counseling failure to which the happenings of Tuesday will continue to linger in their minds for a long time.
One Kenyan that was so lucky and has Jalango to thank for not getting anywhere near the scene of crime in the first place is Gospel Singer Mercy Masika. Jalango got into the meeting late since he was still held up in another meeting and packed his car in a position that blocked Mercy’s.
Mercy Masika was in a hurry to go to the saloon located at Dusit after the meeting but could not apparently move his car from the packing lot as Jalango’s car had blocked it.
Jalango took some time before his car could be moved out of the way for Mercy’s car to pass through. Mercy finally managed to get a way out but in less than 20 minutes, news of an attack at Dusit where she was heading to spread like fire forcing her to have change of plans.
Mercy Masika later sent Jalango a message thanking God for using his car to delay her from her Dusit appointment.
“Masika and Jalango are involved in an upcoming consumer promotion and were therefore invited for a meeting at their clients office.
So @mercymasikamuguro and I are involved in an upcoming consumer promotion and so we were invited for a meeting at the client office… I was in another meeting so I get to client meeting after Mercy! Driving in the client parking is full so Iam forced to double park blocking other cars! I walk into our meeting and client has finished briefing Mercy and she is in a hurry for her saloon appointment since the next day is the launch date and she has to look the part! She hurriedly leave only to find her car blocked so they call me move my car but I give out my car key so there is a bit of delay! When she leaves not more than 20mins later news of the attack at Dusit where she was going for her appointment quickly spread! Waaaaa!
