First Lady Margaret Kenyatta Pay Glowing Tributes to Uhuru’s Fallen friend

First Lady Margaret Kenyatta and Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja this afternoon led friends and family of the fallen Bruce Odhiambo to celebrate and remember the life of the fallen music icon and businessman.

In a star studded even held at a Nairobi Baptist Church, Margaret referred to Bruce as a go-getter and talented musician who joined hands with others to entertain Kenyans. Margaret was reading President Kenyatta’s tribute speech.

Uhuru is said to have been a close friend to the late Bruce with the two having schooled together back in the days.

“Bruce Odhiambo was a go-getter. He was a talented musician who joined hands with others to entertain Kenyans with the legendary Mombasa based Safari Sounds Band and Spartans,”

“He was an advocate for the youth and a trailblazer in the music industry, a skilled administrator, a talented person, who excelled in different spheres of human development.

Death has robbed us of a great leader mentor and friend. Bruce was a generous person ready to use his God given talent which he applied to nature the talents of young people,” read Uhuru’s tribute speech in part.

Legends in the industry such as Maurice Oyando, DS Njoroge, Suzanne Gachukia attended the memorial service.

The late Bruce leaves behind his two children, daughter Simone and son Laboriel. He also has a grandson Ethan.

The former Youth and Enterprises Development boss died at the Nairobi Hospital after a long battle with cardiac ailments.
