Was Son Heung-Min Playing Again Less Than 72 Hours After Man United?

Itโ€™s been a rough few days for Tottenham. Thoughts that Spurs could actually overhaul Liverpool and Man City in the title race are long gone.

Successive home defeats to Wolves and Man United have ended those dreams. And could more darker times be on the way?

Tottenham have confirmed that Harry Kane is out with ankle ligament damage. Kane may only return in March.

Spurs are also without Son Heung-min. Son is now at the Asian Cup with South Korea.

South Korea were in action on Wednesday at the Asian Cup against China.

The match was almost meaningless as both nations have already secured safe passage through to the knockout phase.

The only issue to decide in the game is whether Korea or China topped the group.

In news which may concern Tottenham fans, Son was picked in South Koreaโ€™s starting XI less than 72 hours after playing against Manchester United.

If South Korea reach the Asian Cup final, Son will miss five matches for the Lillywhites.

Those games are against Fulham (a), Chelsea (a, Carabao Cup), the FA Cup fourth round, Watford (h) and Newcastle (h).

Son would then return against Leicester (h).
