Two other dusit attackers nabbed in Eastleigh and Ruaka

Hours after security agents neutralized attackers at Dusit D2 Hotel, 14 Riverside Drive, Nairobi, DCI boss George Kinoti confirmed the arrest of two terror attack suspects.

The DCI chief indicated that the two had been arrested in Eastleigh and Ruaka as intelligence units move to unravel the trail of the attackers and their sympathizers.

As the security operation to end an 18-hour standoff at Riverside came to an end, police were alerted on the location of one of the attacker’s residence.

The officers swiftly carried out a raid at the premise at the upscale estate of Guango in Ruaka where they reportedly found a bunker hole.

Unconfirmed reports indicate that the hole could have been used to store the weaponry used in the attack including the guns and grenades.

The DCI chief has been at the forefront of the operation that saw well-coordinated rescue and evacuation efforts.

President Uhuru Kenyatta on Wednesday morning confirmed that all the attackers had been killed.
