Coastal Kenyan top musician Brown Mauzo has come clean on rumors of him taking poison to settle a heart paining breakup with a girlfriend.
Speaking in an interview with a local radio station, the singer revealed how depression almost took his life in 2 days of deep thoughts and solitude .
” I had locked myself in the house for 2 days, I ran out of energy and I felt like committing suicide but I pitied those that depended on me,” said Mauzo.
The kizunguzungu hit maker, says he first thought their relationship misunderstanding as something that will end sooner, but as time went by he knew his longtime girlfriend was gone for good.
” I have tried to reach her, but my calls and text messages have gone unanswered, till now I don’t know the reason why she left me and it has reached I moment I won’t bother calling or texting her,” he added
According to Mauzo, he didn’t attempt taking poison as reported in several media outlets describing the act of taking owns life as a crime and sin before God.
” since I was born I have never tried taking poison I know its a crime and a sin before God.” clarified a teary Brown
