President Kenyatta Vows to Go For the Heads of the Blood Thirsty Terrorists

President Uhuru Kenyatta has vowed to track down and punish all those involved in the 14 Riverside Dusit complex terrorist attack on Tuesday afternoon.

Speaking at State House, Nairobi after the completion of the security operation at 14 Riverside area, President Kenyatta sought to assure Kenyans that the country is safe and that security in the country is tight saying that they have dealt with the threat decisively.

While confirming 14 lives were lost during the attack, the Head of State affirmed his war on terror saying that Kenya will not relent in the fight against such elements.

“We will seek out every person that was involved in the funding, planning and execution of this heinous act. We will pursue relentlessly wherever they will be until they are held to account,” he assured.

“We are a country governed by law and embraces peace co-existence and believe in values even in the face of adversity but we are also a nation that never forgets those who hurt our children.”

President Kenyatta lauded security personnel who worked to save the lives of Kenyans who were holed up within 14 Riverside Drive complex.

The Head of State promised to strengthen the country’s security systems and make the nation inhospitable to terrorists groups and their networks.

“I assure every Kenyan and all our foreign visitors, that you are safe in Kenya.

President Kenyatta called on Kenyans to support the government in helping to keep the country safe.

“Security is a joint effort between officers and the citizens and we should not allow these people any shelter among us,” said Kenyatta.

The President further thanked Kenyans who took to social media to offer support and encourage those affected.

“There was a strong show of patriotism and Kenyans showed the world the best part of us, patriotic and unbowed…” said Kenyatta.
