Young UNICEF Ambassador and gymnast Wendy Waeni has thanked Comedian Eric Omondi for changing her life.
The gymnast says that Eric Omondi is among the first people who noticed her talent.
Waeni says that it is difficult for someone to believe in you the very first day they meet you; but her story is different.
The 13-year-old says that she met Eric Omondi at Nyayo Stadium the same day she met Mseto East Africa radio presenter Willy M Tuva.
She also said that Eric Omondi is the first person to have given her the opportunity to perform and get a pay from it.
For Waeni, it was a big deal for her to share a stage with Eric Omondi. This gave her new energy and proved to her that anything is possible.
The gymnast says that just that one performance with Eric Omondi, was preparing her for greater things.
Apart from Eric Omondi, Wendy also shared her message of gratitude with Mzazi Willy M Tuva saying that both of them played a huge role toward her achievements.

As an artist the most memorable thing is your first day to perform and get paid..isn’t it..?? Well,i met him at Nyayo Stadium the same day i met Mzazi,Eric was on preparation of the “Eric Omondi Untamed 1” which was in a weeks time,
Eric noticed me and insisted that i must perform on his show,could i have said no..????
To cut the long story short,Eric gave me the 1st platform to perform,and this God sent human paid us 20k (aaaaaw ?? that was huuuge Eric) ,it will always be historic to me,
