Nairobi County women representative Esther Passaris has come out to make a cry to president Uhuru Kenyatta on behalf of all Kenyans.
The Nairobi woman MP through her official twitter account has urged the head of state to let his handshake with AU Envoy Raila Odinga to trickle down to be felt by all Kenyans irrespective of tribe or political affiliations.
Passaris argues that when political differences get in the way of devolution and service delivery, it is the common mwananchi that suffers the most.
“Your Excellency President @UKenyatta, it’s about time that The Handshake trickles down and is felt by all, irrespective of tribe or political affiliation. When political differences get in the way of dev & service delivery, it’s the Mwananchi that suffers the most,” read her post on twitter.
In a video accompanied with the post, Passaris is seen explaining the challenges she has been facing in her service delivery. She argues that every proposal she has been making has always politicked along the way.
