Do you think Masauti will be the dominating artist in 2019?
Kenyan Artist Masauti has recently narrated his story of struggles before success in the music industry.
In a prediction list that was made towards the end of the year 2018, Masauti was said to be the artist who will dominate the music industry this year.
Indeed this is already happening as he is one of the artists who has been allover the media for interviews.
The Singer says that he has been in the industry for 10 years although he discovered his talent back in 2006.
He says that the first song he recorded was back in 2009 although it was never really recognized or got airplay.
After he was signed by J Blessings, 5 years ago, Masauti says that is when his songs began getting played by the media.
Masauti mentioned that music business is all about struggles and once your work comes into light, you then feel a sense of relief.
He also says that at some point he thoughT of quiting since he felt that his music does not get the support needed.
The Singer however got encouraged by several of his fans and his status in the music industry has changed over time.
The current reception of his music is on the rise and many people have shown him love and support for his songs.
On what he wants to do in the next 5 years, the Singer says that he wants to serve as proof that Kenya has great music that can compete in the International Market.
