Former City youngster vows to impress against BVB

Jadon Sancho has vowed to take Europe by storm and make history with Borussia Dortmund.

The wonderkid took the Bundesliga by storm and made the world take notice of the bags of potential he has in him. Now he is raring to go for the second half of the season and wants to make history with Borussia Dortmund. Aged just 17, Jadon Sancho left English giants Manchester City for Borussia Dortmund in search of more playing time in August 2017.

Fast forward to 18 months later, Jadon Sancho is one of the first names on Borussia Dortmund’s teamsheet and is also an England international. He is considered to be one of the best teenagers in the world and is also being used as an example by many English youngsters who are looking to make their breakthrough in the first team.

Sancho said, “Last season was not our best, we had to improve, we owe it to our fans. It was a stage that we just weren’t at our best – now we are and we’re top of the league. Everyone gives their best, we have a great spirit, everyone is happy, there are many more young players coming in and giving the team new options, which is good.”

Borussia Dortmund are enjoying one of their best seasons in recent years, and Jadon Sancho has been a major part of their success so far. His seven goals and ten assists in all competitions have put the Black and Yellows in a near ideal position going into the second half of the season.

And Sancho believes that the club’s incredible hinrunde was due to the great team spirit and everyone’s desire to give their 100% in every game.
