Have you ever tried applying for a Passport in Kenya? It is one of the most excruciating and heartbreaking processes in the country. When you go to the Immigration Department, you have to arm yourself with enough painkillers because you will need them.
First you will line up from 5AM, then they will start taking you in cycles about photographs and other nonsensical bureaucracies. It will take months before of back and forth before you finally get your document.
AU envoy Raila Odinga visited the Immigration Department on Thursday to apply for the new e-passport. As expected, the former Premier posted pictures if himself at Nyayo house.
This morning The Odinga troop took a trip to Nyayo House @ImmigrationDept office to apply for Kenya’s new ePassport. No society has ever developed as an island, we must travel, trade, exchange ideas and learn from each other in order to grow. 1/2 pic.twitter.com/MzPn4QvuXB

Raila did not expect the backlash as Kenyans decided to vent about the troubles they are subjected to at Nyayo House:
I know yours will be out in few hours and delivered to you ??♂️Did you meet a long queue outside there or you entered via the VIP wing?
